What are Title V Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) Programs?

Title V Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) programs are state programs that receive federal money to assist children (under age 18) and young adults with special health care needs. Children with juvenile arthritis and related conditions may be eligible for help under these programs.

Each state uses CSHCN funds differently, so the services and resources available will be different depending on where you live. Later, we'll tell you how to find out what your state offers.
