Section 504

Who is Eligible for Section 504 Services?

Children and teenagers who have a disability that limits one or more “major life activities” are eligible under Section 504. Major life activities include:

• Walking


• Working


• Caring for one’s self


• Seeing


• Hearing


• Speaking


• Breathing


• Learning
