Welcome to JA Help!
This Web site provides information about governmental programs or laws that can offer benefits or protections for children and teenagers with juvenile arthritis (and related conditions) and their families.
JA Help is a Web site developed by the University of Missouri under a grant from the National Institute of Disability Rehabilitation and Research. This is a non-profit project aimed at providing information that is useful in helping children and teenagers with juvenile arthritis and related conditions.
Types of benefits and protections described include the areas of health care coverage, support at school, support at work, and supplemental income assistance. This Web site organizes all of this information in one place and provides it in a quick and easy-to-understand format.
In addition to providing information, this Web site provides worksheets to help those who are eligible apply for benefits or protections under these programs and laws. These worksheets are available to everyone, but there are additional advantages to those who enroll as a research participant in JA Help. Participation also allows us to learn how our Web site is helping children and teenagers with JA and how we might improve it.
Before learning more about participation, keep in mind that the information and worksheets are not legal advice or meant to replace the official application forms or procedures these programs/laws require. (You should read additional information about this Web site by clicking here.)
Please click on Worksheets and Research Participation to learn more. If you’ve already read this and you already have a login User Account, you may want to click on “Login for Worksheets” to go directly to your worksheets
